Jasper Kids International was established in 2003 under the Government of Thailand. Since then, we have provided over 150 children nourishment, mentor-ship, education, and most importantly - a place to call home.

Our STory

The Jasper Kids Home first opened its door to underprivileged and poor children and teenagers between the age of 6 and 18 years old in Wiang Pa Pao, a small town in the Chiang Rai province in Northern Thailand. These kids come from various backgrounds, some are orphans, others come from single-parent homes, but all come from extreme poverty.

From starting with nine children and two local staff, Jasper Kids now is home to 35 children. 13 college students remain involved in the foundation, in addition to six full time staff workers. The majority of Jasper Kids have been able to graduate through high school and continue with further education or other opportunities.

In 2003, the Orphanage officially established under the Government of Thailand as the Jasper Kids Foundation.

In 2020, Jasper Kids International (JKI) was founded in the U.S. Jasper Kids International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It oversees and supports the Jasper Kids.

Long-Term Vision

The vision for Jasper Kids is growth. There is still rampant need for children’s care across the region. Expansion to nearby provinces to reach and help these children is long-term goal for JKI.
